The heroes in Nigeria

It takes a big heart and a lot of courage, in Nigeria, to go against the superstition and take care of children accused of witchcraft.

If taking care of those in need makes of anyone a good person, to love children accused of witchcraft makes of these people real heroes.

Diana has been working with WN since 2009.

She is our deputy director.

In her role, she oversees WN projects, staff, and relationships with donors and stakeholders.

She ensures that all projects comply with WN standards.

She is responsible for the typing, dispatching and filing of administrative documents.

She ensures that minutes of meetings, reports and other correspondences are properly documented and filed.

She is a project assistant.

She looks after the development of the children's academic standards, in collaboration with other staff members.

She attends PTA meetings of our children in their various schools.

He is a project officer. 

He handles the rescue of ostracised children and is responsible for tracing their families, registering cases at police, social welfare and family court. 

He works towards strengthening the relationship between Wn children and their families.

He is primarily responsible for the safety of lives and property in the center.

He ensures proper documentation of entry and exit of persons and items to and from the center.
